Villages

Charming places just 10 km from Huize Glory are ideal to visit by bicycle. Discover, for example, the old center of Bergen Binnen, the Schoorl climbing dune, or the lovely shopping street of Egmond aan Zee.

Nature


The North Holland Dune Reserve is one of the reasons you come to Bergen aan Zee. Let yourself be surprised by the wild Highland cattle during your walk or bike ride through this beautiful area. Wander through the woods and dune paths and clear your head during a relaxing beach walk. You can only experience this in Bergen aan Zee. By the way, don't forget to buy a dune pass for the PWN area. These are available at our reception.

Bezienswaardigheden

During your stay at Huize Glory, you have plenty of opportunities to head out together in the surrounding area. Think of the inspiring Kranenburgh Museum, the small-scale Cinebergen cinema, our own

observation tower, the ruined church in Bergen, the cheese market in Alkmaar, or pay a visit to the Abbey of Egmond.

Activities


The area around Bergen aan Zee is perfectly suited for active holidaymakers. In addition to the beautiful walking and cycling routes that you can find via route.nl, there are other sporting activities to enjoy, such as various water sports, mini-golf on one of the oldest mini-golf courses, a game of tennis, bowling or go-karting in Limmen, or rent a mountain bike and try your hand at the famous mountain bike trail in the Schoorl Dunes.

Kids

Of course, there are plenty of family-friendly outings to enjoy in the area. Read a wonderful book yourself while your children play in the outdoor playground at Huize Glory, play minigolf in Bergen, spend an afternoon at the paid playground De Batavier, go for a day at the Holle Bolle Boom, visit the small zoo in Tuitjehorn, go to Springtown or Monkeytown on a rainy day, or visit the sea aquarium in Bergen aan Zee together.
